Dealing with trauma and PTSD, the artist uses her artistic practice as a self-healing method. The artworks communicate to the audience directly. They mirror the spectator while functioning as a photo filter artist lays over herself. Mirjana uses video editing as an image-creating tool, layers, blurs, voice, and text, to express herself. Implementing documentary and biographical moments into the artworks, she conveys a raw and genuine energy that enhances the emotions and connection with the audience.
